Don't miss the 1st Annual "Adopt a Valentine" Pet Adoption Benefit on Saturday, Feb 13th from 11:00am-3:00pm, at the North Central Animal Shelter 3201 Lacy St LA 90021 -- two blocks east of Figueroa off Ave 26. Click here to get directions at Google Maps.

Come meet a furry valentine and enjoy rides, games, food and live music! Presented by the Friends of Hermon Dog Park, a non-profit organization based in Northeast LA, this special pet adoption benefit will include substantial discounts on adoption fees (which includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations and microchip). The maximum cost will be $78.50 per dog and $50.50 per cat. As a bonus, an additional $25 off adoption fees will be provided to the first 10 adoptees! Admission is free.

Bring in your pet for inexpensive $25 microchipping, which someday could save its life. The shelter is easily accessible from the Gold Line's Lincoln Heights/Cypress Park Station.

The Hermon Dog Park is located at 5568 Via Marisol, Los Angeles 90042 (between Monterey Road and the Arroyo Seco Parkway/110 Freeway).

From the 110 Freeway (Arroyo Seco Parkway) exit Via Marisol and turn right. Turn left into the Hermon Park driveway and go to the end of the parking lot.
